Laurie
Owner/Dog Trainer
Laurie’s love for animals began in childhood, inspired by her dad’s habit of taking in stray dogs—many named Lucky. The most influential was Duke, a German Shepherd adopted from a shelter, who learned hand signals, searched for lost family members, and protected the household.
As an adult, Laurie fostered German Shepherds, facing challenges like fear, aggression, and resource guarding. Prioritizing her family's safety, she sought training guidance and developed a rehabilitation protocol, helping otherwise unadoptable dogs find homes.
Seeing behavior issues as a major reason for surrenders, Laurie became passionate about empowering owners with training tools and knowledge. Her goal is to keep dogs with their families, reducing shelter overcrowding and ensuring no dog is abandoned.
Kylie
Dog Trainer
We are proud to have Kylie Pendergrast training with us.
To say she is passionate about dogs is an understatement. She has several dogs of her own that she has trained to do a variety of sports, disc, dock diving, flyball, agility, fast cat, etc.
She has experience training for TV commercials and print ads. She was on Americas Top Dog, she is an evaluator for AKC Canine Good Citizen and she is a trick dog instructor as well.
She has fostered for many years and has been training for 8 years. She has a gift for bringing the scared dogs out of their shell so they can learn to enjoy life and she has a real knack for getting the best head tilts for pictures!
Grecia
Dog Trainer
Grecia says "If there's one thing I've been passionate about my whole life, it's dogs. I've always been captivated by their charm, loyalty, and boundless enthusiasm for life. My journey into the world of dogs began long before I met my furry companion, Sherlock. From the start, anything related to dogs piqued my interest, and I knew that I wanted to turn this passion into a career. One thing you'll notice about me is that I'm pretty easy-going and friendly. I believe it's these qualities that have helped me connect with dogs and people in such a special way. But it wasn't until I faced the challenges of owning a reactive dog like Sherlock that I truly understood the ups and downs of being a dog parent. This experience gave me a unique perspective and a heartfelt empathy for others dealing with similar issues. I felt compelled to help fellow dog owners better understand their furry companions and to help create a more harmonious bond."
